In 2018, Stallion Motorsport competed in it's first ever international event. The quality of engineering and performance of European, American & Australian cars left us feeling inspired, determined and a bit envious. After many discussions with our international counterparts, we realized that we were technically pretty almost on par with them. But we were miles behind in the resources required to bring the ideas to life.

The cost of building two race machines to compete on an international stage is beyond the capabilities of a student-funded team. The estimated budget for the 2018-2019 season is 45 Lakhs.
WHY STALLION MOTORSPORT?
As a Formula Student team, we are committed to enhance the level of engineering in India by nurturing passionate, dedicated and bright engineers, but, more importantly we have pledged to instill good human beings.
In India, the situation of engineering industry is grim. Research & Development is not encouraged in many mechanical industries and is outsourced, many engineers are out of jobs or are not employed. Majority of students are now looking to settle abroad given this situation. As a small organization, we try our best to increase the caliber of engineering in India and try to improve the overall picture by doing our best on a small scale.
Our dream is to surpass the level of engineering achieved by European teams, which will be possible by your invaluable support.
